Sensory Awareness Programme Focus Group

Invitation to take part in an online focus group on smell and taste changes resulting from cancer treatment

Are you living with cancer or caring for someone who is, and have experienced changes to your sense of smell or taste as a result of treatment?

SmellTaste, the charity for all those living with impaired smell and taste, is inviting you to take part in a focus group to be held via Zoom on Tuesday 11 November, 6–7pm, to share your experiences.  We would like to get a better understanding of how this has affected your enjoyment of food and drink and nutrition.

We are planning a pilot project aimed at helping people who have experienced smell and taste changes as a result of cancer treatment eat enjoyably and healthily, and your feedback will help us as we design the project.

 We warmly welcome people from all backgrounds, particularly those from communities where healthy eating on a budget can be challenging.

How to join on the day

You will receive your Zoom link from Eventcube. 

Please join the Zoom call at least 5 minutes before the event start time, ready for a prompt start.  Thank you.

•  Eventcube will hold your name, address and other personal data in their database, as outlined in their Privacy Policy. As a third party supplier, Eventcube are responsible for respecting the security of your personal data and treating it in accordance with the law.
• SmellTaste will use your name and email address to communicate with you about the event, for example, to send you a reminder email before the event; to keep you informed about any changes to the event (if the event is cancelled or rearranged); or to send a follow-up email about the event. These emails will be sent from info@smelltaste.org.uk
